bunq exports ISO dates
bunq writes dates as 2026-08-01 (year-month-day), which this preset parses as ISO without any configuration. The Amount column already carries your account currency so you can paste the export directly.

bunq export questions
Is 01/08/2026 the 1st of August or the 8th of January?
The 1st of August. bunq uses ISO year-first dates (2026-08-01), and this preset parses them exactly as written — no day/month setting to change.
Does this handle foreign-currency purchases?
Yes — bunq exports every transaction already converted into your account's base currency in the Amount column. The converter uses that figure and keeps the original description intact for your Beancount narration.
Can I use this for multiple bunq accounts?
Yes — bunq lets you export each account or sub-account separately. Download each CSV one by one and convert them sequentially; the preset handles each file independently.
Keep the ledger you just converted
Beancount.io hosts your plain-text ledger, imports future statements for you, and keeps every number auditable.
