Methodology
- Balance sheet figures are asserted via
pad/balancedirectives against each period's filed Form 10-K/10-Q — see the source comment at the top of each period file. - Income statement for each period is a single zero-sum transaction:
Incomeaccounts are negative (credit),Expensespositive (debit), with the arithmetic check shown in a comment directly above the transaction. - Basis note: Robinhood early-adopted SAB 122 in its FY2024 10-K (rescinding SAB 121), which retrospectively removed the "safeguarding obligation" gross-up of crypto assets/liabilities from the balance sheet. This ledger uses the restated (post-SAB-122) basis throughout for comparability — the FY2023 balances here are the FY2024 10-K's restated comparative, not the originally-filed FY2023 figures (which carried an extra ~$14.7B gross-up on both sides of the balance sheet).
- All amounts are in
MUSD(millions of US dollars);1865 MUSDmeans $1.865 billion.
